  • Overview

    Work Profile:

    This position reports to the senior executive over Human Resources and will coordinate the onboarding process and orientation for new associates, assist in reviewing and managing a variety of benefits plans and governmental regulations, as well as process and maintain related data in the HRIS.


    In addition, this position will accurately and successfully perform the following duties:

    • Process the weekly 401(k) file including funding
    • Reconcile invoice/billing/premium payment for health and welfare vendors
    • Assist in preparing and reviewing open enrollment material and other benefit communication throughout the year
    • Process Qualified Medical Child Support Order appropriately and enter benefit portal information (Bswift)
    • Process weekly reverse feeds from 401(k) manager
    • Administer FMLA processes
    • Handle monthly 401(k) loan reports ensuring all loans are not delinquent
    • Handle retiree billing (those with life insurance)
    • Maintain information and assist in the completion of risk management renewals
    • Perform background checks
    • Process E-Verify/I-9
    • Assist with reconciliation between Bswift and Dayforce
    • Maintain an HR-specific computer drive with latest forms and documentation

    Skills and Experience Desired:

    This position requires a high degree of professionalism, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain confidential information. The successful candidate will need to have a fundamental knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA and other benefit regulations. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel (including Pivot Tables), PowerPoint and Outlook is essential. The knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce is a plus.

    This position requires a bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience in Human Resources/Benefits.
