Our client provides a wide variety of electromechanical components for custom-designed applications; primarily to automotive tier one suppliers. The Company offers engineering and design assistance, supply chain management, and other value-added services to its customers and suppliers. The current range of products include laser-etched injection molded plastic components, custom-molded silicone rubber products, printed circuit boards, incandescent lamps, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
The BDM is responsible for day-to-day business development, sales, and marketing activities regarding all company products. The position involves participating with the owners in setting short and long-range sales & marketing plans. The BDM is a vital member of the Project Review Committee and has responsibility for maintaining the Company’s “new business opportunity pipeline” … which is to be achieved by strengthening and broadening the channels through which new opportunities are generated:
The BDM is primarily responsible for developing and submitting quotations, leading negotiations and closing orders with support from management, field reps, and engineers.
The BDM is also expected to motivate personnel at all levels to expand the Company’s vision and to seek diversification in new business frontiers. This includes the BDM assessing new/different manufacturing and partnership options in industries such as: Cosmetics (packaging); Appliance; HVAC; Aviation; Medical; and others.
