Our client, an Employer Benefits Agency, has an immediate opening for a Benefits Analyst. This position requires heavy Agent and carrier interactions; therefore qualified candidates should possess an outgoing and positive attitude, exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently.
Process and submit new and renewal proposal requests to market in a professional and timely manner. Manage quote follow up and carrier requests for information to expedite proposal turnaround time. Complete standardized multi carrier new business and renewal spreadsheets with proposal information including enrollment, plan designs, rates and supplemental information. Assist Agents with sales proposals, Excel spreadsheets and carrier requirements. Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with all federal, state, local and company requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualified applicants should have a four year college degree or equivalent with a focus on Insurance, Business, Economics and/or Risk Management, have MS Office experience and preferably possess a Tennessee Health Insurance License.
Qualified applicants must have a minimum of two years insurance industry experience in customer service or internal sales support, have MS Office experience and possess a Tennessee Health Insurance License.
