Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant. This is a full time position, 8:00 - 5:00 M-F.
Process customer payments, maintain customer accounts and collections. Producing end of month statements for all account customers and month end reports including P&L’s and Balance Sheet. Continual sales tracking. Process customer credit applications.
Maintain and update vendor information. Reconcile inventory received to invoice quantities. Prepare sales tax reports for Georgia and other States.
Miscellaneous clerical duties as assigned including sales reports and sales tracking. Keeping the office organized, supplied, and clean. Keeping mailing lists/customer records updated. Answering phones, assist sales staff. Preparing timesheets, helping with advertisements (mail-out, email, promotions) Update social media. Additional office tasks as needed. Process payroll and other HR assigned duties.
Must be able to work well with others, be self-motivated and have great organizational skills. Knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting is required. Must be trained in ERP systems and integration with accounting. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, or a similar spreadsheet type program.
Must be able to pass a drug screen prior to hire and have a clean criminal background. Must have a minimum of 2 years college experience.
